In Ngando, hunger isn’t occasional – its constant. For many of our students, the meals they receive at school are their only reliable source of nutrition.
Access to clean water is not a luxury, it’s a fundamental human right and around 70% of childhood illness in this community are linked to unsafe water consumption and sanitation.
In Ngando, toothpaste, brushes, and dental care are considered a luxury but the cost of going without these is just as high. Untreated dental problems quickly turn into chronic pain, infection, and missed school days.
We pour everything we have into our students, but what happens when they go home to parents who are struggling, discouraged, and unable to see a way forward?
‘Safe Haven Education and Community Centre’ provides education, meals, healthcare, hygiene products, school sponsorships, and humanitarian aid to vulnerable children in Ngando.
