My experience volunteering in Kenya was nothing short of life changing.

My time volunteering in Kenya is nothing shy of exceptional.

I saw a lot of the charity behind the scenes and felt like an already knew the kids from helping with fundraisers etc back home but to be there in person and experience it all firsthand was completely different!

Being able to raise my own money which would help the children & teachers as well as support carrying out impactful projects on the ground was such an emotional but rewarding experience!

Seeing how grateful every person was for the smallest of things that we take for granted in our every day life brought me home with a complete different outlook on our way of living.

My time in Kenya was such an eye opener and I will definitely be back one day.

I volunteered for Ubuntu Africa for the first time in February 2023, my experience was truly life changing.

Going on this volunteer trip opened my eyes in ways I could never have imagined. The day I got to meet the kids at the school was one of the happiest days of my life, they made me feel like part of their family and surrounded me with so much love. I felt safe, welcomed, and deeply connected from the moment I arrived.

The entire trip was so thoughtfully and beautifully organised. Despite facing daily challenges, the children's joy, gratitude, and determination to learn were inspiring beyond words. They are so incredibly thankful for Ubuntu Africa and the opportunities it provides. The experience reminded me that true happiness and purpose come not from what we have, but from love, community, and compassion. 

I loved the experience so much that I've since been back two more times, each visit reminds me of the power of kindness, resilience, and hope.
The school continues to inspire me and has changed how I see the world.

I first volunteered in 2022, and I didn't know what to expect at first but I was instantly put at ease by Courtney and the team.

The faculty and kids are so welcoming. I knew within hours this wasn't going to be a single trip. It was honestly the most life changing experience and I knew I had to go back.

I volunteered for a second time in March of 2023, and the welcome back was just incredible. The school really do treat you as part of the family and I can't wait to volunteer again!
